When I sit down to write down my thoughts, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude and a sense of accomplishment. Serving as Chairperson of the IEEE MESYP23-24 Regional Conference has been nothing short of an extraordinary adventure, full of challenges, growth, and tremendous pride.
Over the past months, I have had the privilege of leading a team of dedicated individuals, each bringing their unique talents and perspectives to the table. Together, we have embarked on a mission to create an unforgettable experience in the field of space and astronomy with a unique engineering and technological character, the first of its kind locally and globally distinguished for our participants, pushing boundaries and redefining excellence every step of the way.
When I look back on this journey, I am filled with a deep sense of pride in what we have accomplished together.
More than 230 people from different countries and governorates attended, and we honored with distinguished speakers from several participating countries, as this conference is considered global as it included more than 15 countries. But more than that, I am humbled by the lessons learned and relationships built along the way. Thank you to everyone who played a role in making this conference a success. First of all, I would like to thank Her Excellency the supportive and wonderful Minister of Culture “Dr.Haifa Najjar”, my distinguished team, the supporting companies and entities, especially Jordan Tourism Board, the distinguished IEEE Professors & doctors, the radio and television stations, Hilton Hotel, and the wonderful Leaders.
As I transition from this role, I bring with me invaluable lessons and memories that will undoubtedly shape my future endeavors. But for now, I’m taking a moment to celebrate the culmination of a wonderful chapter – one that I will hold close to my heart forever.
These are the new beginnings and endless possibilities that await us. Always forward and upward.
